Workshop 1: Ghosts of Natures: Past, Present & Future
Ghosts of Natures: Past, Present & Future is an immersive, reflective climate engagement workshop designed to deepen personal connection to nature, strengthen climate awareness, and build collective responsibility for the future. Through guided storytelling and participatory activities, participants explore how their relationship with nature has changed over time and how their actions today shape the world of tomorrow.
The workshop recognises that climate action is not only technical or policy-driven, but deeply emotional, cultural, and rooted in lived experience. By valuing memory, present-day realities, and future imagination, the workshop supports participants to move from reflection to agency and leadership.
Workshop 1 Objectives
- To capture community memory of local ecosystems, landscapes, and traditions
- To create a shared understanding of current climate and environmental realities
- To support participants in processing climate grief, concern, and uncertainty
- To build accountability, hope, and a clear sense of purpose for climate action
